Nature features prominently in all her work and she tries to communicate the extraordinary in the everyday.

4 hours of great creative fun !!!!
Electrochemical etching is a safe, non toxic way to etch copper and other non ferrous metals. Using metal salt solutions and low voltage electricity, you can create crisp, clean etchings with precise detail. This involves no acids or toxic chemicals and is safe to do even on your kitchen table.
In this 4 hour class you’ll learn how to apply resists, including photocopy transfers, etch copper with patterns or images, cut out shapes for your jewellery using basic metalsmithing techniques, attach findings and apply a patina to bring out the details.
Each student will have time to complete several pieces of jewellery including pendants and earrings.
